Permit required. Book La Mina Trail timed-entry at recreation.gov before your trip — fills weeks out. Pick up your car rental today. Leave by 7–8 AM.

Drive east via PR-3 or toll PR-66 (~45–60 min from San Juan)
La Coca Falls — visible right from PR-191, no permit needed, first stop waterfall
Yokahu Observation Tower — short climb, panoramic views above the canopy views
Midday
La Mina Trail — 0.7 mi trail to the most beautiful waterfall in the forest. Bring water shoes — swim in the pool at the base must-do
Big Tree Trail — old-growth forest, alternate approach to La Mina
Afternoon — Heading Back

Laguna Grande Kayak Bio Bay Tour — meets at dusk (~7–8 PM) must-do
